
The seven chakras are an important aspect of yoga gospel and are believed to be the centers of energy in the body. Each chakra is associated with specific physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of our being. Then is an overview of the seven chakras
Root Chakra( Muladhara) This chakra is located at the base of the chine and is associated with our sense of grounding, stability, and security. Its color is red.
Sacral Chakra( Svadhisthana) This chakra is located in the lower tummy and is associated with our creativity, fornication, and capability to enjoy life. Its color is orange.
Solar Supersystem Chakra( Manipura) This chakra is located in the upper tummy and is associated with our particular power, tone- confidence, and restraint. Its color is unheroic.
Heart Chakra( Anahata) This chakra is located at the center of the casket and is associated with our capability to love, give and admit affection, and form meaningful connections. Its color is green.
Throat Chakra( Vishuddha) This chakra is located at the base of the throat and is associated with our capability to communicate effectively and express ourselves. Its color is blue.
Third Eye Chakra( Ajna) This chakra is located between the eyebrows and is associated with our suspicion, imagination, and capability to see the bigger picture. Its color is indigo.
Crown Chakra( Sahasrara) This chakra is located at the top of the head and is associated with our spiritual connection, advanced knowledge, and sense of purpose. Its color is violet or white.
In yoga, the practice of asanas( postures), pranayama( breathing ways), and contemplation can help balance and spark these chakras, leading to lesser physical, emotional, and spiritual well- being.
